I’ve been married for over a decade (has it really been that long?!?) and have four children–two boys (Turkey and Moose), and two girls (Bunny and Ladybug), plus one as-of-yet unknown on the way. Much of my life is very different from what I expected–I used to think I hated St. Louis, and would never, ever homeschool. But, life is full of surprises, and I have discovered that I actually love the St. Louis area, (especially the Cardinals!), and I love homeschooling three of my children. My youngest son has Autism, which was another of life’s surprises, but he has taught me to appreciate the little things in life, for which I am very grateful. I have fun planning special school units (when I’m not using My Father’s World) and cooking, and in my spare time (ha!) I love reading, scrapbooking, blogging, baseball, watching What Not to Wear and Star Trek, planning ahead for the next Christmas, and playing any version of Ticket to Ride.
