I do still think Sonlight is a great program…we just needed more hands-on activities in our homeschool days! But the literature you guys have put together can’t be beat!

They’re really awesome books!

My oldest two are seven and eight, and they’re at a really good age for them. There have been a few things here and there that they’ve needed a little help with, (mostly math puzzles that use concepts we won’t be getting to until the end of this year), and they’ve needed a little push to get started on some of the more complicated word puzzles. For the most part, though, they’ve be doing them independently, and they really love it!

I agree–workbooks have a time and place in education. I was one of those kids that loved workbooks growing up! Explode the Code was a favorite for all my kids when they were younger.

I think the only way to get tickets for those seats, (aside from knowing someone who owns them), is to check out Stub Hub. From what I remember, though, the prices can be pretty good. Not sure how that works after a championship season, though–all the prices may be higher!

How do you get green seats? I’m trying to get a pack of 4 Commissioner’s Box Tickets, but they are SO expensive! Almost $1,000 for all 4 (WITHOUT the parking pass)!!! I would try and get green seats if they’re cheaper.
