Sartorial Saturday–Jenny January 2020

Here’s a look back at my “Jenny January” outfits for this year. I feel like I didn’t do a very good job this time around…I only wore six out of the eight Pinup Girl Clothing Jenny skirts I own this month. I blame the weather…it’s hard to want to wear a full skirt when it’s cold and snowy/rainy, and especially when it’s windy!

Sartorial Saturday–Jenny January, 2019 Edition

Here’s a look back at this year’s Jenny January outfits. I wore each Pinup Girl Clothing Jenny skirt in my wardrobe once…and only once. It was so cold and gross for so much of the month that I didn’t want to wear skirts as often as I usually do!

Coming up next month…Mary Blair March! I can’t wait!!!

Sartorial Saturday–Jenny January

It’s Jenny January, that wonderful time of year when fans of Pinup Girl Clothing’s Jenny skirts and dresses wear their favorite pieces. My Jenny skirt collection hasn’t changed since last January, but I thought in honor of the first style of skirt I bought from PUG, I would share my current favorite ways of styling each skirt. It’s hard to choose, though, because Jennys look great no matter how you wear them!

Jenny January

Yesterday was the last day of “Jenny January,” a week for us Jenny skirt and dress fans to wear our favorite Pinup Girl Clothing pieces. I wore five of my eight Jenny skirts over the course of the week, culminating with one of my two favorite prints, the Paris Jenny, yesterday.

With one exception (that Paris Jenny), these aren’t the actual outfits I wore over the last week (you might have seen those on Twitter); instead, I decided to share my favorite stylings of each Jenny skirt in my collection:

I’m sure there will be more Jenny skirts in my future, as this is my absolute favorite style offered by Pinup Girl. I’m always looking forward to seeing the new designs that appear in the “Coming Soon” section of their website, and I also love dreaming up ideas for prints I wish they would make (A London print is number one on my wish list, with a cherry blossom print a close second!). I know one thing for sure, though…I won’t be truly content with my Jenny collection until I finally get my hands on a purple harlequin print skirt!
