Chickadee had a fun, busy, first birthday!

She spent some time hanging out with Daddy:

She opened presents…kind of. She couldn’t really figure out what to do with them, but she liked how the paper crinkled.

Of course, we had to put a bow on her behind:

She liked her birthday cards, a lot:

But only when they were in the envelopes. When we tried to show her the actual cards, she started crying!

She got two cute new outfits:

She wasn’t too interested in them, so Daddy put them on her head!

We went out to dinner at Red Robin, where she enjoyed eating fries and mac ‘n’ cheese, and really liked perusing the menu:

Since Chickadee loves elephants, she had a pink elephant cake:
