This pretty much sums up my feelings on writing your own wedding vows…why mess with  a good thing? I don’t get why people always assume they can improve on old traditions!

Now, as far as the vows go. They can be traditional, or you can write your own, which seems to be the style nowadays, although if you ask me it’s rather garish.
