Today was a very nice day for January in St. Louis…60 degrees with some sun and not too much wind…so we visited the Missouri Botanical Garden. It’s the first time we’ve been there in the winter, and it was interesting to see it with the Christmas decorations still up, ice on the ponds, and bare trees:

Of course, there are enough greenhouses to visit if you need a dose of green and a reminder of warmer days to come!

We’re looking forward to going back at least once every month this year, and seeing how the garden changes with the seasons!
