I was looking for something fun to do today, so we celebrated Christmas in July!

We listened to Christmas music and watched Christmas movies. Lots of Christmas movies. Included on our list were Home Alone, The Muppet Christmas Carol, Elf, A Charlie Brown Christmas, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Rick Steves’ European Christmas, White Christmas, and the San Francisco Ballet Nutcracker.

We made wassail and baked Christmas cookies, too. And had a scaled-back version of our Christmas Eve “Pick-Out Dinner,” featuring jalapeño popper dip, pizza rolls, toasted ravioli, and mozzarella sticks.
