We made it through the last week before spring break!

This was a week about wrapping stuff up. Turkey and Bunny completed chapters in math and science. They’re also very close to finishing The Scarlet Letter. In creative writing, they wrote in the style of surrealism, which was a lot of fun!

Ladybug learned how to think like a horse in science. She worked on probabilities in math. She wrote an essay about “The Bowman,” which is a fictionalized story about the Battle of Agincourt. In history, she read about Columbus, Vespucci, and Magellan.

Chickadee finished her last “I Can Read It” book this week! She practiced skip counting some more in math. We also finished reading A School of Her Own, which means we have to hope the library can find the rest of the books in the Grandma’s Attic series in their system, because that was the last book we have in our personal library.

I’m really looking forward to having next week off…hopefully, we’ll even get to enjoy some nice weather at some point!
