Sartorial Saturday–A Feminine Pants Suit

Yesterday Miss Candyfloss released the 2025 spring/summer lookbook! That’s always an exciting day for me…I go through the book multiple times, admiring the new styles and prints and inspirations and creating and honing a wish list. I don’t know when the first pieces will be available for purchase, or when my first purchase of the new season will be, but in the meantime, here’s a look at an outfit I styled last fall with pieces from that season’s collection!

This look features the Terentia-Bo vest and coordinating Menora-Bo wide leg pants with the lovely Arien-Minty bishop-sleeve blouse.

As always, I love a good peplum!

I accessorized with a stack of Splendette Duchess Bangles and the perfect Art Deco Erstwilder brooch:

I love how perfectly polished this look is!

I can’t wait to start sharing looks from the new collection!

Sartorial Saturday–Retro Pants with a Modern Silhouette

I have a couple of pairs of pants from Miss Candyfloss now, and they both have a similar, extreme wide-leg shape. This season, I decided to try a different style…the Menora-Bo, which still have a fairly wide leg, but not as exaggerated, and with a flat front instead of the pleats found on my other pairs.

I paired them with the Cleona-Floria blouse from this year’s spring/summer collection…they look like they were meant to go together!

I accessorized with an Erstwilder brooch and a stack of Splendette Duchess Bangles.

Even though the pants are from the autumn/winter collection, they’re not too heavy, so I think I’ll be able to wear them for much of the year.

I wore my burgundy loafers with this outfit…I don’t have a lot of things that these shoes go with, but they’re the perfect match for this look!

I’m glad I tried something new, and it’s nice to have a different style in my wardrobe! I did learn one thing, though…I used to think I didn’t really like the way pleated-front pants look on me, but as it turns out, I really miss the effect of the pleats!

Stay tuned for a look at the matching vest I ordered with them!
