OK, not our house, but given the fire truck in our subdivision, I’m guessing one of our neighbors’ houses did get struck…yikes!

Oh, and the children? Not big fans of the storm…a lot of plugged ears here.

I am not totally convinced that the lightning didn’t hit our house–I don’t think I’ve ever heard thunder that loud or close!

Ahhh…the Glamour fall issue arrives! Time to think about boots, jeans and long sleeves! Too bad it’ll be months before I wear them!

You’d think I’d have learned not to be so gullible when it comes to forums…more on this later, when I get my jaw off the floor!

*Groan*… @kenkogler, a “blackberry hole”? Seriously? I was not prepared for something so bad this morning! A little warning next time?

@Achernar I demand a retraction! Blackberries made the muffins way more special than plain old blueberries! More delicious, too!

If they sold a basil-scented perfume, I think I might buy it! My garden smells amazing!

Not to brag or anything, but the blackberry muffins I made were better than the blueberry I usually bake, and those are pretty darn good!
