Can I please play with Bunny’s new dollhouse after she’s asleep? Pretty please?

My children are talking about Amazon.com…do they even know what that is? And they have to say the whole thing like one word–Amazondotcom

And, should we delve into the box right away, or should we open it on a day that we do not also have birthday cake and presents. Decisions!

Did I mention how heavy a year’s worth of curriculum is?

Woo hoo! Not only is it Bunny’s birthday, it’s also Sonlight Box Day! God willing, this will be an annual tradition in the coming years!

I cleaned the over last night (which actually resulted in a few small flames–oops!) and now it smells like burnt marshmallow in here…ick!

An hour and a half after starting, the cake is frosted, and looks enough like Abby Cadabby that I think Bunny will be ecstatic about it.

The cake came out of the pan in one piece, and vaguely resembles Abby Cadabby. Next stop–the intimidating task of frosting!

I’m assuming that once I level it, which I would have to do anyway, the cake will be fine…but man, does my oven need a good cleaning!
