Today was a big day, because we spent hours exploring downtown Chicago. One of the highlights of the trip was our journey to the top of the Sears Tower (I hear they’re spelling that different in Chicago these days, but it’s still Sears Tower to me!), which you can see in the background of this picture of Chickadee in front of beautiful Buckingham Fountain!
You want to know a secret? Before I took the children to downtown Chicago on Memorial Day weekend, I had never seen Buckingham fountain before. I had seen pictures of it, though, so I knew how cool it was, and it was on the top of my list!
I wasn’t disappointed…now I hope that someday, I might get to see it at night, too!
There are few sights like the Chicago skyline…I think it was built to be photographed!
