Today Bunny started on the second half of the Lego chess set by building the frame for the rest of the board:

Today marks the halfway point of Advent (already?!?) and Moose completed the first half of the Lego chess set by assembling the king, which he was very excited about.

Today Bunny built the white queen…only one piece to go and the first half of the Lego chess set will be complete!

Today Turkey built the white knights for the Lego chess set…I absolutely love how recognizable they are as horses!

Today Chickadee built the white rooks for the Lego chess set.

Today the endless streak of pawn-building ended (for now), and Ladybug assembled the white bishops!

Bunny got home from college for Christmas break just in time to build the last two white pawns today!

Today Moose added two more pawns to the Lego chess set…one more day of pawn building before we move on to something else!

Today Turkey built two more pawns for the Lego chess set…this part of the project is both repetitive and brief, because there are a lot of pawns, and they’re not complex to assemble in the least, but it’s the only way to stretch out the set for the whole season of Advent!
