It would have been really nice if the Cardinals could have won the game, but at least it was a pretty afternoon to be at the ballpark!

The children got to pose with a statue of Turkey’s favorite player: Ozzie Smith.

We also got to stop and watch batting practice for a while–we saw Albert Pujols bat, and we even got to see Red Schoendienst on the field!

It really was a beautiful day for a ballgame, especially for this early in April!
