I was going through some recent pictures the children have drawn, and came across this gem, illustrated in Turkey’s unique style:

He’s obviously been looking through our Animal Encyclopedia, and in greater detail than I ever have–I didn’t know there was such a thing as a snakebird, but it’s real–I checked!

He also added a few illustrations to the back of the paper:

How he lives in St. Louis and can’t consistently spell cardinal, though…well, that I can’t explain at all!
