This has been a really long week…let’s see if I can even remember what we did!

Ladybug learned how to find the volume of cones, prisms, and spheres in geometry. She learned about mitosis and meiosis in biology. We discussed the Rig Veda in history. Since she finished Beowulf last week, our only literature this week was A Christmas Carol. In astronomy, she read about Venus.

Chickadee continued to work on long division in math. We read about fish senses (especially sight and hearing) in science, as well as buoyancy. She finished the second review unit in her study of Greek mythology. We started looking at Christmas celebrations around the world in place of her regular geography studies.
