2021-22 School Year–Week Twenty-Three

March came in like a lamb…we’ll see how the rest of the month goes!

Ladybug worked with corresponding parts of triangles in geometry. She read about the Mennonite faith in our study of denominations. In biology, she learned about different types of algae (luminescent dinoflagellates are really cool!) and fungi. We read the first part of the second act of Henry V.

Chickadee added and subtracted unlike fractions in math. We started the readings for our Lenten Jesus Tree. She learned about scallops, conchs, and whelks in science. We read a few less common fairytales from The Blue Fairy Book, including “Why the Sea is Salt” and “Felicia and the Pot of Pinks.” We also visited a new walking trail this week since the weather was so nice!

One more week of school until spring break!
