I really wanted to do a mani showing how four different Holo Taco toppers looked on a single color of polish. I discovered, however, that it’s really hard to find a base color that shows off “Silver Flake Taco,” “Cracked Taco Shell,” “Disco Dust Taco,” and “Freezer Burn.” I knew I needed something in the red family to allow the “Freezer Burn” to shine, but the “Disco Dust” disappears on lighter colors, and the “Cracked Taco Shell” doesn’t show up very well on darker shade. In the end, I decided to go with “Devil’s Advocate” as the base, because it’s the best at seeing almost everything except the crackle topper on the index finger…the other three look really good!
