Mani Monday

Today’s mani is the final in my Pokémon Summer Eeveelution series, and is inspired by the watery colors of Vaporeon, featuring Holo Taco “Never Tide Down” with accents of “Twice in a Blue Moon,” “Sugar Rush,” and “Lemon Spritzer.”

Mani Monday

My penultimate Pokémon Summer mani is inspired by the bold colors of Flareon, featuring Holo Taco “Box Office Bomb” and “Lemon Sucker.” It’s also the perfect sunny color scheme for the dog days of summer!

Mani Monday

This week’s Pokémon mani is inspired by the Eeveelution Glaceon. I used Holo Taco “Happily Ever Aqua” and “Bring Me the Teal” to capture his icy shades.

Mani Monday

This week’s mani is inspired by the Eeveelution Espeon. I used Holo Taco “Lavender Syrup,” with an accent nail of “Favourite Sister” to represent the gem on its forehead.

Mani Monday

This week’s Pokémon mani is inspired by Leafeon. I used a base of Sally Hansen Miracle Gel “Sunbrella” and added some swirls of Holo Taco “Wicked Potion” and “Espresso Your Holo.”

Mani Monday

This week’s mani is a bit sloppy because I did it in a hurry, but it’s another in my line of Eeveelution-themed nail arts…this time, I was inspired by Umbreon. I used a base of Holo Taco “One-Coat Black,” and created the distinct rings and stripes with “Lemon Sucker.”

Mani Monday

This week’s mani is inspired by what I think is one of the prettiest Eeveelutions, Sylveon. I used a base of Holo Taco “Sugar Rush,” and made something like ribbons with “Be Kind Rewind” and “What Do You Pink?”

Mani Monday

This week’s “Pokémon Summer” mani is inspired by my favorite Eeveelution, Jolteon. I used Holo Taco “Lemon Sucker” and “Sugar Rush” for Jolteon’s colors and did my best to add a few fun lightning bolts to reflect his electric personality.

46

Today is my 46th birthday!

I started the day by receiving a truly amazing gift from my family…I can’t wait to find the perfect place on the wall to hang it!

I decided that taking a “Hit the Bricks” tour on historic Main Street in St. Charles, MO, would be the perfect way to spend the day, because I would get to see something beautiful and interesting AND learn something, and I wasn’t disappointed!

I finally got to try the lavender Frappuccino using my Starbucks birthday reward…it was just as delicious as I imagined!

We had my favorite dinner, Reuben casserole, and since we also have Starbucks at home, I made a lavender matcha to go with it:

And Bunny made me an amazing tiramisu for my birthday dessert…I’ve come a long way since the years I used to make myself a tiramisu layer cake for my birthday!

It was unbelievably delicious!!!

Roald didn’t come to my birthday party this year, which was the cause of great sadness, but I set up a photo shoot so we could still get a birthday picture together…it’s tradition!

I also got to watch a few of my favorite movies today (one of them might have been a Christmas movie, and another might have starred Donald Duck), and generally feel very special…it was a great day!
