Sartorial Saturday–InVESTment

Last week I took a look at a gorgeous Miss Candyfloss trumpet skirt in a vibrant shade of pink; this week it’s time for a look at the matching vest!

The Terentia-Paz is a beautiful tailored piece that is pretty much identical in style to the vest I added to my wardrobe last year. It also pairs well with the same Brindy-Dora pants, not to mention the Tannia-Khalia bishop-sleeve blouse!

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again…Miss Candyfloss does peplums extremely well!

I accessorized with a hat with a statement bow, an Erstwilder brooch, and a stack of Splendette Duchess Bangles:

It’s a lovely, polished look!

I love how versatile Miss Candyfloss vests are…they go with so many different tops, skirts, and pants, and I even have plans to pair this one with a dress…stay tuned!

Sartorial Saturday–Geometric Glamour

I have really been focusing on blouses from the Miss Candyfloss “Vintage GlamIcons” collection, and I was interested in the Tannia-Khalia bishop-sleeve blouse from the start. It has an unusual and bold geometric pattern in an unusual color, and I knew that it would add interest to my wardrobe!

I paired it with the Brindy-Dora wide-leg trousers from an older collection, and I love the combination:

I added a single pop of color to the look with a bold purple Splendette Duchess Bangle, but I kept the other bangle and Erstwilder brooch neutral:

The look just screams 1940s glam!

I really love the tie at the neck, which can be worn multiple ways…that will be fun to play around with in the future! The blouse also has a bit of texture in the pattern, which is new to me, and unexpected in a fun way!

I’m looking forward to pairing this top with other pieces…stay tuned!
