The Jacinna-Lee capri pants in blue with white polka dots are extremely comfortable and very stretchy…I sized down from my usual Miss Candyfloss size, and I’m almost certain I could have gone two full sizes with no problem! I decided to go bold with pattern mixing by pairing them with the tartan Efrona-Lee blouse.
I accessorized with a stack of Splendette Duchess Bangles and an Erstwilder brooch:
And I added a little bit of extra pattern with a belt covered in polka squares!
This is a great comfortable outfit to wear as the seasons change!
I’m really glad I got to add another new Miss Candyfloss style to my wardrobe!
I accessorized with my Elizabeth Claire Taylor hoop earrings, an Erstwilder brooch, a stack of Splendette Duchess Bangles (plus a beaded bracelet made by Ladybug that looks lovely with the blouse), and my favorite hat:
I love how light and breezy the blue and yellow tartan is…perfect for spring!
And I absolutely adore the stand-up collar and square neckline!
I also styled it untucked, which is a new way for me to wear a Miss Candyfloss blouse (even though they style their blouses that way frequently). I still think I like the more polished, tucked-in look better, but it’s nice to have options, and this is a fun, relaxed look!
I have a few more pieces from this collection I’m hoping to buy when they’re released…stay tuned!
Can you believe Black Friday was six weeks ago already?!? I didn’t do much shopping, but I did order the Donata-Lee dress from Miss Candyfloss’ 2024 spring/summer “Viva Rita” collection for an absolute steal! I finally got around to wearing it, and it’s a fantastic piece!
It may be a summer dress, but a little thing like that won’t stop me from wearing it all year long. To make it a little more cold weather friendly, I paired it with a Yemak cropped cardigan and a pair of ankle boots.
I accessorized with a Meteor Jewelry Co. necklace, an Erstwilder brooch, and a stack of Splendette Duchess Bangles:
I love the punch of color from the cardigan (even if it was pointed out to me that I’m wearing the Chicago Bears’ colors!).
As always, Miss Candyfloss does peplums well…and you can get a closer look at the lovely plaid!
Here’s a better look at the bodice of the dress with the cardigan:
And a few photos of the dress without the cardigan, too:
This purchase has me looking forward to the next collection…I can’t wait until it’s revealed!
Can you believe that there was a version of my favorite style of Miss Candyfloss dress in the “Viva Rita” collection that I didn’t buy?
Well, didn’t buy until now. I was browsing through dresses on their website one day, and it hit me that the Delsie-Lou dress has the perfect color palette in shades of red, orange, and purple to transition from summer to autumn. And since it’s sleeveless, it also offers the perfect opportunity to wear it with lots of different cardigans and jackets. Well, once it cools off. Until then, it’s the perfect dress to wear during warm early fall days.
I accessorized with a boater hat and black lace gloves, an Erstwilder brooch that looks like it’s part of the dress, and a stack of Splendette Duchess Bangles, plus my newest RockLove Jewelry necklace in the shape of a Klingon bat’leth:
Isn’t this the most gorgeous floral?!?
I’m loving this bold look!
The fabric of the dress is really smooth and comfortable, and like all of the dresses I have in this style, it has a long row of buttons, which makes it perfect for wearing with exposed shorts underneath, which I might do next summer!
It’s still summer, but I’m already dreaming of autumn, so today’s outfit features pieces from the Miss Candyfloss spring/summer “Viva Rita” collection styled in a way appropriate for fall! I paired the Efrona-Lee tartan blouse in calming shades of blue and grey with the Donna-Sable palazzo pants.
I added blue and grey accessories, including a stack of Splendette Duchess Bangles and a cute Erstwilder penguin brooch, plus a blue hat and grey gloves:
The temperatures are still quite warm, so this outfit, while full coverage, is also light, so it’s comfortable to wear while still giving off autumn vibes!
Time for a look at one last piece from the Miss Candyfloss “Viva Rita” collection! I don’t have a lot of tops, so I decided to add the Efrona-Lee tartan bishop-sleeve blouse to my wardrobe. It has the same button front and bustline that I love in so many of my Miss Candyfloss dresses and jumpsuits, and is beautiful in blue, white, and grey.
For my first wearing, I paired it with the Idalia-Lee skort, also from the “Viva Rita” collection. I’m looking forward to wearing it with the Donna-Sable palazzo pants, too!
I accessorized in blues and greys as well. I borrowed brooches from two of my daughters, both from the Erstwilder Paris Holiday collection. I also added a stack of Splendette Duchess Bangles, plus my Elizabeth Claire Taylor hoop earrings, light grey gloves, and my favorite tan hat.
This is a great blouse for the warmer months, and will transition well into fall, too!
Even thought it doesn’t have short sleeves, it’s still a pretty breezy top for summer!
I’m already looking forward to seeing what surprises the autumn/winter collection has in store!
I have been waiting and waiting for my favorite dress from the Miss Candyfloss Viva Rita collection, the lovely checked Virtue-Violette, to be released, because I really wanted to wear it on my birthday. I was getting nervous, but as luck would have it, it was released this week, and somehow, even with international shipping, it arrived on Thursday, the day before my birthday, so I was able to wear it yesterday on our birthday trip to Ste. Genevieve, MO!
I love everything about this dress. It is my very favorite style of dress from Miss Candyfloss, with functional buttons all the way down the front, which makes it perfect for wearing unbuttoned from the waist with shorts underneath (I’m planning on wearing it that way very soon!). The colors in the checked pattern, which are blues and a gorgeous purple/pink, are my favorites. And between the lightweight fabric, the swing skirt, and the sleeveless bodice, it’s nice and cool for summer!
I accessorized with a stack of Splendette Duchess bangles, a Meteor Jewelry Company necklace, silver hoop earrings from Elizabeth Claire Taylor, and an Erstwilder brooch, plus a pair of blue hair flowers:
Here’s a closer look at my brooch. It’s not specifically a birthday cake, but as soon as I saw it earlier this year, I knew I wanted it to wear for birthdays, and it looks gorgeous with this dress!
I found a great vintage sign that made the perfect backdrop for my look, too!
This beautiful dress made me feel like a princess on my birthday!
I still have a few pieces to share from this collection, but this was my last purchase for the season, which is always a little bittersweet to me, because I hate when things are over…but it will be time to look forward to the autumn/winter collection before you know it!
I already shared some pictures of the Miss Candyfloss Grainne-Lina wiggle dress when I styled it with the matching jacket for Easter. Now I’m back with a look at how I styled just the dress by itself!
I accessorized with my Erstwilder Easter egg brooch again, plus a Splendette stack of Duchess bangles and coordinating necklace in shades of green, and a white hat and gloves:
I am loving this bold shade of lime green…it’s so vibrant!
Here’s a look at the back…I love the kick pleat!
With or without the jacket, it’s a lovely look!
Now that I’ve discovered I can wear a wiggle dress and feel confident, I’m thinking I might want to add a wiggle skirt to my wardrobe in the fall!
I have been wanting to get a Miss Candyfloss skort (part skirt, part shorts, if you’re unfamiliar with the term) for a while now, but the Idalia-Lee, my favorite from this year’s “Viva Rita” collection, sold out super fast in multiple sizes. When I saw that it was back in stock in a size smaller than I usually wear, I decided to take a chance since the size chart for this particular item is pretty generous. It ended up being a good decision, because my regular size would have been way too big on me! It’s a beautiful shade of navy blue that will go with just about anything, but in some lights, you get some hints of purple, too! From the front, it basically looks like a skirt:
From the back, however, you see the built-in shorts!
I chose some mint accessories, to pick up the color in the Cleona-Floria blouse, including my fascinator and stack of Splendette Duchess bangles. I also added an Erstwilder brooch in a very neutral gold:
This skort is very comfortable to wear and light and breezy…perfect for the warmer months!
I’m really glad I could add this summer staple to my wardrobe…now I just need to find more blouses to wear with it!
I have been waiting (somewhat) patiently for the number one item on my wishlist from the Miss Candyfloss “Viva Rita” collection to be released, and she’s finally here! The Acantha-Fire jumpsuit has a beautiful tartan bodice with tulip sleeves, and wide-leg pants in the most gorgeous shade of violet:
I accessorized with a an eye-catching Erstwilder brooch in green and a stack of Splendette Duchess Bangles:
I love the colors of the tartan…they’re so pretty, and offer great options for accessorizing!
According to their website, this jumpsuit runs a little small, but my normal size was the perfect fit for me!
You can see the detail on the sleeves better from the back:
I love the cut and color of this beautiful piece!
This was my favorite item from the collection, but there are still a few other lovely pieces I’m still waiting for!
