Sartorial Saturday–A Sunny Playsuit

Dresses may be my favorite style of clothing (and the most common item in my wardrobe!), but I love a good playsuit. Miss Candyfloss makes them well, and the Zena-Naia from this year’s spring/summer “Legendary Liz” collection is the perfect piece for summer.

I love the sunny color, the gingham on the bodice, and the fact that it’s sleeveless, which is great for warm days, but easy to throw a cardigan over when it’s cool.

I accessorized with a necklace and Duchess Bangles from Splendette, an Erstwilder brooch, and my favorite neutral hat and lace gloves.

Playsuits give the best long lines!

Sartorial Saturday–My Favorite Miss Candyfloss Style

While I’m waiting to add some new autumn pieces to my wardrobe, I thought I’d take a look at my very favorite Miss Candyfloss dress style, which features a pleated bustline that provides an amazing fit, and a row of buttons all the way down the front, which gives you a great option for wearing exposed shorts under it in the summer! The Virtue-Violette is a beautiful sleeveless pink and blue checked option:

The Estee-Spring dress is a short-sleeve option with lovely pastel stripes:

The Heidi-Abalone is a tartan dress with 3/4 sleeves perfect for autumn:

Here’s an example of how you can wear shorts under this style of dress for a light and breezy summer look:

This style extends to playsuits, as well. Of course, they don’t button all the way down the front, and you can’t wear them with shorts, but they have the same lovely bustline and buttons down the front. The Morna-Bo is a long-sleeve option perfect for cooler days:

The lovely Acantha-Fire has short sleeves perfect for summer:

And for really hot days, the Belicia-Minty is a sleeveless choice:

This style even extends to blouses. I only have one, the Efrona-Lee, and it pairs well with skirts, pants, and skorts!

I really love that I’ve been shopping with Miss Candyfloss long enough that I can immediately identify which pieces are my favorite style, and know that they’ll look great and I’ll feel great in them!

Sartorial Saturday–A Tartan Jumpsuit

I have been waiting (somewhat) patiently for the number one item on my wishlist from the Miss Candyfloss “Viva Rita” collection to be released, and she’s finally here! The Acantha-Fire jumpsuit has a beautiful tartan bodice with tulip sleeves, and wide-leg pants in the most gorgeous shade of violet:

I accessorized with a an eye-catching Erstwilder brooch in green and a stack of Splendette Duchess Bangles:

I love the colors of the tartan…they’re so pretty, and offer great options for accessorizing!

According to their website, this jumpsuit runs a little small, but my normal size was the perfect fit for me!

This was my favorite item from the collection, but there are still a few other lovely pieces I’m still waiting for!

Sartorial Saturday–The Sheer Sleeve Jumpsuit

Time for a look at my final purchase from the Miss Candyfloss “Exquisite” collection…the elegant Morna-Bo jumpsuit!

I didn’t realize it until the jumpsuit arrived, but the hat from Mein Wunderbarer Hutsalon that I won in the Miss Candyfloss Instagram giveaway is a perfect match for the jumpsuit! I added a pair of Splendette Duchess Bangles and an Erstwilder brooch to complete my accessories.

I love the elegant bishop sleeves, and the fact that they’re sheer makes them extra glamorous somehow:

The colors of the jumpsuit are perfect for winter (especially the lovely berry shade of the top)…I’d love to see how they stand out against a backdrop of snow (if it ever snows here this winter)!

I really enjoyed this Miss Candyfloss collection, and I’m looking forward to seeing what they have in store for 2024!
