Sartorial Saturday–A Cap-Sleeve Blouse for Warmer Weather

Today I’m very excited to share my first purchase from Miss Candyfloss’ newest collection, Chérie Bardot (named for and inspired by 50s/60s French icon Brigitte Bardot)! As soon as I saw the Acosta-Lee cap-sleeve blouse, I knew it was a perfect match for the Donna-Sable palazzo pants from last year’s spring/summer collection, and I wasn’t disappointed…they look like they were made for each other!

I accessorized with my Elizabeth Claire Taylor hoop earrings, an Erstwilder brooch, a stack of Splendette Duchess Bangles (plus a beaded bracelet made by Ladybug that looks lovely with the blouse), and my favorite hat:

I love how light and breezy the blue and yellow tartan is…perfect for spring!

And I absolutely adore the stand-up collar and square neckline!

I also styled it untucked, which is a new way for me to wear a Miss Candyfloss blouse (even though they style their blouses that way frequently). I still think I like the more polished, tucked-in look better, but it’s nice to have options, and this is a fun, relaxed look!

I have a few more pieces from this collection I’m hoping to buy when they’re released…stay tuned!

Sartorial Saturday–Summer Dreams…of Autumn

It’s still summer, but I’m already dreaming of autumn, so today’s outfit features pieces from the Miss Candyfloss spring/summer “Viva Rita” collection styled in a way appropriate for fall! I paired the Efrona-Lee tartan blouse in calming shades of blue and grey with the Donna-Sable palazzo pants.

I added blue and grey accessories, including a stack of Splendette Duchess Bangles and a cute Erstwilder penguin brooch, plus a blue hat and grey gloves:

The temperatures are still quite warm, so this outfit, while full coverage, is also light, so it’s comfortable to wear while still giving off autumn vibes!

Sartorial Saturday–A Spring Blazer

I’ve shown you a blouse, a dress, and a pair of palazzo pants that I purchased from the Miss Candyfloss “Viva Rita” collection…now let’s take a look at the Claudia-Sable blazer that ties them all together!

First I paired the blazer with the Poria-Sable dress. The collar and cuffs on the jacket match the print on the dress:

I went with white, pink, and silver accessories for this look, including a Splendette stack featuring a floral bangle, my very sparkly brooch from the Royal Collection, and a white hat and gloves:

Next I paired it with the Donna-Sable palazzo pants (and also the Cleona-Floria sheer floral blouse, which you can barely see here)…they’re the same beautiful shade of blue!

This time, I chose accessories in shades of coral and pink, including a boater hat from Vixen by Micheline Pitt, another Splendette stack, and an Erstwilder brooch:

Here’s a bonus look at the blazer paired with an all-white eyelet dress from last year’s spring/summer collection. I love the way the white makes the blue of the blazer pop even more!

I picked blue and white accessories this time, including another Splendette stack and an Erstwilder brooch:

Finally, I also paired the blazer with a skirt from last year’s autumn/winter collection (the same skirt I wore with the Cleona-Floria blouse). They’re not quite the same shade of blue, but I still really like how they look together!

For this look, I featured yellow accessories including yet another Splendette stack and another Erstwilder brooch. I love how versatile this blazer is, and how many different colors can be worn with it!

I’m really loving these mix-and-match pieces this spring…they offer a lot of different styling options!

Sartorial Saturday–Palazzo Pants for Spring

Last week, I shared pictures of a lovely Miss Candyfloss dress perfect for spring; this week, I’m looking at a pair of lightweight pants in the same beautiful shade of blue, the charming Donna-Sable palazzo pants!

I paired them with the Cleona-Floria sheer floral blouse, also from this spring’s “Viva Rita” collection:

I accessorized with an Erstwilder brooch and stack of Splendette Duchess Bangles, plus a boater hat in a pretty shade of blush pink:

While I have several Miss Candyfloss jumpsuits, I only own one other pair of pants, and they’ve a heavier weight for autumn, so I’m really happy I was able to add something that works for the warmer months to my wardrobe!

I have one more coordinating piece to share…stay tuned!
