Sartorial Saturday–My Favorite Miss Candyfloss Style

While I’m waiting to add some new autumn pieces to my wardrobe, I thought I’d take a look at my very favorite Miss Candyfloss dress style, which features a pleated bustline that provides an amazing fit, and a row of buttons all the way down the front, which gives you a great option for wearing exposed shorts under it in the summer! The Virtue-Violette is a beautiful sleeveless pink and blue checked option:

The Estee-Spring dress is a short-sleeve option with lovely pastel stripes:

The Heidi-Abalone is a tartan dress with 3/4 sleeves perfect for autumn:

Here’s an example of how you can wear shorts under this style of dress for a light and breezy summer look:

This style extends to playsuits, as well. Of course, they don’t button all the way down the front, and you can’t wear them with shorts, but they have the same lovely bustline and buttons down the front. The Morna-Bo is a long-sleeve option perfect for cooler days:

The lovely Acantha-Fire has short sleeves perfect for summer:

And for really hot days, the Belicia-Minty is a sleeveless choice:

This style even extends to blouses. I only have one, the Efrona-Lee, and it pairs well with skirts, pants, and skorts!

I really love that I’ve been shopping with Miss Candyfloss long enough that I can immediately identify which pieces are my favorite style, and know that they’ll look great and I’ll feel great in them!

Sartorial Saturday–A Winter Blazer and Spring Dress

Time for another winter to spring look!

The Estee-Spring dress from last year’s Miss Candyfloss Lilibeth collection is one of my favorites, and I’ve been looking for ways to work it back into my wardrobe as spring approaches. As I was looking at the options in my closet, I realized that the darker blue stripe on the dress is almost a perfect match to the lovely blue of the Minerva-Lee blazer from last season’s Exquisite collection!

I accessorized with a moon and cloud brooch from the Erstwilder/Care Bears collaboration, and a pastel stack of Splendette Duchess Bangles:

I love the colors of this outfit!

I still can’t believe how outstanding the peplum on the blazer is!

This is great way to fill in the gaps in the transitional times of year as far as the weather goes, but I’m looking forward to going full spring soon!

Sartorial Saturday–Winter to Spring

Last autumn, I had some fun mixing and matching some unexpected pieces from my wardrobe, and in some cases, looking for ways to transition some of my spring/summer pieces into fall. I’m back at it, but this time I’m looking at a winter to spring transition, featuring my new Dashi-Sable coat from the Miss Candyfloss “Exquisite” collection and the Estee-Spring dress from last year’s collection “Lilibeth” collection.

The blue of the coat really brings out the blue stripes on the dress!

I accessorized with a stack of Splendette Duchess Bangles, and an adorable Jemima Puddleduck brooch from Erstwilder:

The pink lining of the coat and the faux fur trim also goes really well with the dress!

I love finding new ways to combine pieces and dress for the changing seasons!

Sartorial Saturday–Pastel Stripes

Today I’m going to take a look at one of the “maybe” dresses from my Miss Candyfloss wishlist…obviously, its maybe status was upgraded to “definitely!”

The Estee-Spring dress is the perfect cotton dress for summer. It’s lightweight (so lightweight, in fact, that I wouldn’t wear it without a petticoat!), and the rainbow of pastel stripes is so pretty! It also has a rather unique sleeve style that ensures a good fit.

I kept the pastel theme going with my accessories, featuring a Splendette necklace, earrings, and stack of Duchess bangles, and a pretty Erstwilder brooch:

Did I mention just how pretty the pastel shades are?!?

I was delighted to discover that my Miss Candyfloss Loris-Cardinal coat is a perfect match for the dress…it makes for a whole, beautiful look!

I think this would be an especially lovely dress for Easter, because the pastels give it major Easter egg vibes!

I caved on another “maybe” dress, too…stay tuned to see that one, as well!
