Today’s addition to the Lego Disney Castle was all about the little details. Bunny built a pair of suits of armor (that I think are really cool!), a vase, an archery setup that Merida clearly left behind, and a grandfather clock. She also added a bit more to the ceiling/floor.
Today Chickadee added some more arches, plus some ceiling panels and a really cool chandelier, to the Lego Disney Castle:

Today Turkey finished the grand entrance to the Lego Disney Castle…it’s really starting to look like something now!
Today Ladybug began building up the grand entrance to the Lego Disney Castle on either side of Mickey Mouse:
Today Chickadee added a few more of the same kind of pillars to the Lego Disney Castle that Bunny added yesterday:
While Bunny did add some pillar type things to the Lego Disney Castle this morning (you can see some of them in the background), the most important addition to our Lego project for Advent was none other than Mickey Mouse himself!
Today Ladybug added some floor details to the Lego Disney Castle. We also got one of what I assume will be many Disney movie references…a pair of frogs outside the castle, one of which is wearing a tiny crown!

For the fourth year in a row, the Fab Five are working on a special Lego project for Advent (check out their previous builds of the Lego Millennium Falcon, Lego Diagon Alley, and Lego Hogwarts Castle). As so many things have been in 2022, this year’s project is related to our summer vacation to Disney World…they’re building the Lego Disney Castle! Turkey got it started by building the foundation:
It might not look like much yet, but I know from experience it will take shape quickly, and I’m really looking forward to seeing all of the hidden Disney details in the build!
