Sartorial Saturday…On a Tuesday–Red, White, and Blue

Since tomorrow is Independence Day in the U.S., I thought I’d share a few ideas for dressing for the Fourth of July. You’ll notice Pinup Girl Clothing’s Mary Blair plane print makes an appearance three different ways…as a Harley dress, a Natalie swing dress, and a Doris skirt. The red, white, and blue of the print is perfect for Independence Day fashion! So are PUG’s red Harley top, blue sky harlequin skirt, and red, white, and blue Amanda dress!

Here are some of my favorite ways to accessorize with red, white, and blue, as well:

What’s your favorite way to wear red, white, and blue?

Fashion for the Fourth

I didn’t have my red, white, and blue Amanda dress from Pinup Girl Clothing in time for the Fourth of July last year, but it was ready to go today!

I paired it with a white hat, red, white, and blue lucite earrings from SparkleLux, and alternating red and blue polish on my nails, something I mean to do every year, but have never actually remembered until now. It’s the perfect look for Independence Day!

The Amanda Dress

So, my very favorite retailer, Pinup Girl Clothing, made a dress that shares my name. And it’s available in red, white, and blue (did I mention that my birthday is on Flag Day?). It’s a match made in heaven (or in my dreams, at least!).

I can’t imagine a more perfect dress for me!
