Sartorial Saturday–Where Spring Meets Autumn

I’m back with another look I created from pairing two pieces from two different Miss Candyfloss collections that I already had in my wardrobe. I picked one of my favorite spring dresses, the Amina-Regina, because it has so many lovely colors to work with, and topped it off with my Elke-Amber blazer, which is a perfect match for one of the shades found in the dress:

I accessorized with a trio of Splendette duchess bangles and an Erstwilder brooch:

I love the contrast between the plaid and floral collars…they’re so different, yet they work so well together!

It’s a great transitional look as we move from summer to (hopefully) autumn!

Sartorial Saturday–Pants and a Jacket

I am so ready for autumn! I’ve been going through my wardrobe, looking for cool-weather pieces I already have the I haven’t worn together yet. The first items that jumped out at me were the Elke-Amber short blazer and the Brindy-Dora swing pants…they’re the perfect color palette for fall!

I accessorized with my favorite hat, orange and brown Splendette Duchess Bangles, and an Erstwilder brooch. I also wore a ring over my golden velvet gloves.

I love the way the whole look turned out!

I’m really looking forward to actually being able to wear my autumn clothes instead of just styling them…hopefully in the not-too-distant future!

Sartorial Saturday–Awaiting Autumn

I am so ready for fall!

Actually, I’ve pretty much been ready for fall ever since our first hot summer day, but now that school has started again, I’m really ready. Fortunately, Miss Candyfloss also appears to be ready for autumn, because not only have they released their new autumn/winter lookbook, Toujours Élégant, they’ve also already made a few of the pieces available! And one of my favorite looks, featuring the Phoebe-Amber tartan swing dress and Elke-Amber short blazer, was available in the very first release!

Don’t you love the fun sleeves on the blazer?!?

I love the color of the jacket (one that’s fairly unique in my wardrobe), and the lovely plaid.

Let’s be honest, though…it’s just not blazer season here yet, which is ok, because the dress is gorgeous on its own…the neckline is especially lovely:

The coordinating belt adds a nice extra pop of color:

I love every Miss Candyfloss dress I receive even more than the last, which is really saying something, because every piece I have ordered has been special and made me feel fantastic!
