By now it’s probably pretty obvious that I have a favorite style of Miss Candyfloss dress…sleeveless, with a pleated bust and buttons all the way down the front. It’s a great, breezy style for summer, and easy to wear in cooler months with a sweater or jacket. I’m likely to buy this dress in just about any color/print (I think this makes eight in different variations in my wardrobe), but I was especially drawn to the Kahina-Violette because of the bold, vibrant colors of the floral print:

I had so many accessories that were just perfect for this dress, too…beads and Duchess Bangles from Splendette among them, plus an Erstwilder brooch that is doing its best to camouflage itself against the pattern of the dress, a pretty fascinator, and my original hoop earrings from Elizabeth Claire Taylor (which were all the more appropriate since the inspiration for this Miss Candyfloss collection was none other than Elizabeth Taylor!).

I will always love a bold floral print!

If you’ve seen this dress on the Miss Candyfloss website, you might be surprised to see a belt in the same print of the dress instead of the contrasting one pictured there…I’m not sure what happened, but Miss Candyfloss’s customer service was excellent as always, and they sent me the belt I was expecting to receive!

I’m so happy that I was able to find another dress in my favorite style!
