“‘For I’m the Hogwarts Sorting Hat
And I can cap them all.
There’s nothing hidden in your head
The Sorting Hat can’t see,
So try me on and I will tell you
Where you ought to be…
So put me on! Don’t be afraid!
And don’t get in a flap!
You’re in safe hands (though I have none)
For I’m a Thinking Cap!'”
I was going to leave well enough alone, and just get Turkey and Bunny pieces from Pinup Girl Clothing’s “House Harlequins” collection, but someone (Ryan), thought it was important that I share this experience with them. So, we can have a Harry Potter House Harlequins Party, even if am the lone Hufflepuff!
“‘Or yet in wise old Ravenclaw,
If you’ve a ready mind,
Where those of wit and learning,
Will always find their kind;'” The Sorting Hat in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone
Bunny, the biggest fan of Harry Potter in our house, has been anxiously anticipating the release of Pinup Girl Clothing’s “House Harlequins” collection ever since I first told her about it…I don’t know, several months ago? And Turkey was also excited to hear that they were going to be releasing some men’s bowling shirts along with the various skirts, dresses, cardigans, and women’s tops that make up the collection.
Well, my two Ravenclaws are very happy to finally have their Blue House Harlequins! Bunny got another Little Jun skirt, which is the same style as her Lady Wrestlers skirt. I also got her a pair of cobalt hoop earrings to go with it, and she already had a Ravenclaw bracelet, which is the perfect accessory!
Trying to take pictures of the two of them is always interesting, and has been since they were toddlers. There was photobombing, hugging that looked more like strangling, sassing, and general goofing around. In short, they’re siblings, and have fun tormenting both each other and their mother, but at least they look stylish while they’re doing it!
Today’s Sartorial Saturday post includes a guest appearance by Bunny, who is now the proud owner of her very first piece of Pinup Girl Clothing!
As soon as I saw that they were releasing a skirt with a lady wrestlers print (which was done in collaboration with the Hernandez Brothers), I knew she had to have it. She loves all things WWE, so I knew it would be the perfect birthday gift. As it turned out, I didn’t have the heart to wait until her birthday to give it her…I really wanted her to have it for Wrestlemania last weekend. She was ecstatic, and had to do the poses of some of her favorite wrestlers while wearing it:
Now both Bunny and Chickadee have Pinup Girl items in their closets, but poor Ladybug will have to wait…she’s too big for the children’s items, but still too small for the women’s line!
