Chickadee had a fun time on our trip to visit Bunny at college!

And she was also excited (and confused, as we all were) about our first trip to Buc-ee’s!

This was a weekend I’ve been looking forward to ever since the school year started…Parents & Family Weekend at Bunny’s college!
On the way, we took a little side trip to Santa Claus, IN, a place where it’s always Christmas! I could move right in!!!

We spent Saturday exploring the campus together. The grounds are beautiful, and even though it was hot, it was a very fun day!

We visited the Kentucky Museum, where I finally got to see the mid-century marvelous Duncan Hines exhibit:

There was also an exhibit of amazing quilts!

I’m always so happy to see Bunny!

We stopped at Starbucks, where on Bunny’s recommendation, I tried a matcha with pumpkin foam…it was so good!

And we went to a volleyball game…it was a bit tense, but they won in the end!

While we were in the area, we had our first trip to Buc-ee’s. It was a completely surreal experience!

I’m always happiest when we can all be together!

Now I’ll be counting down the days until Thanksgiving!
This weekend, we got to visit Bunny for Parents and Family Weekend at her college! We’ve been there before, but it was fun to see some of her favorite things and check out where her classes are!

We got to go to “Donuts with the Dean” while we were there, visit the campus Starbucks (I think we’re calling it “Starbies” now), walk all the way to the top of the hill, and attend a volleyball game (we won!). It was a beautiful day, to boot, and we had a really fun time!

We even got to have Zaxby’s, which is a real treat for me!

The most special thing to me, besides seeing her (of course), was getting a picture of all the children. I know she hasn’t even been gone for a whole month, but I was really happy to get a new photo of the Fab Five together.

I’m not going to lie…Thanksgiving feels like a long time from now, but that’s when we get to see her next!
